An iconic Papal Elastic-Sided Loafer, handcrafted in soft red calf leather.
Created by Arellano for Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Leo XIV, this model is defined by its clean, timeless silhouette and discreet elastic gussets on both sides of the instep. The elastic construction offers an easy, comfortable fit while preserving the refined appearance of a classic plain loafer.
The red calf leather gives the shoe its distinctive ceremonial character, while the full leather sole and natural leather lining ensure lightness, breathability and lasting comfort.
Each pair is made to order and handcrafted in Rome after purchase. It is available in red, matte black or polished black leather. Alternative colours and a non-slip rubber sole can also be requested.

Select your usual dress-shoe size. After purchase, we will personally confirm your size and request simple foot measurements before production.
Leather colour and sole may be personalised, subject to availability. Once confirmed, Daniel and Antonio Arellano will craft your pair by hand.
